My journey as 49ers Fangirl began on January 14, 1990 when my family and I attended the 1989 NFC Championship game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Los Angeles Rams. A native Angeleno, in the middle of the second quarter, I turned to my mom and said, “I love Joe Montana.” And that was it. I have been a die-hard, gold blooded Niner faithful ever since.

I created Fangirl Sports Network as a place for female sports fans to follow their favorite teams with content and coverage that speaks directly to females. It started with one and then eight and now 32 NFL Fangirls and 15 NBA Fangirls.

This 49ers Fangirl is now a credentialed 49ers’ beat writer and it is a dream come true to bring FGSN to women who watch and love sports everywhere.
