Happy NFL schedule release day to those that observe! The San Francisco 49ers 2025 opponents have been known for several months, but now the mystery of when they’re playing who has been solved.
The 49ers start the season on the road for the fourth time in five seasons and will play the Seattle Seahawks. Their cross-divisional match-ups will be against the NFC and AFC South, while they will also play the Bears, the Giants and the Browns, playing the 2024 fourth-place teams from the NFC North, NFC East and AFC North. San Francisco has five prime time games on the schedule, two on Monday Night Football, two on Sunday Night Football and one on Thursday Night Football.
The 49ers Week 14 bye is the latest bye week possible and the first time San Francisco has had it.
After a 6-11 season and an offseason roster refresh in the form of youth, San Francisco hopes their last-place schedule will help reboot them for 2025.
