‘Twas the week before Christmas and all through the Bay, San Francisco 49ers players spread joy all day.

Come McGlinchey, come Kittle, come Warner, come Buckner, and more. These real-life Santas made children smile to their core.

Mike McGlinchey

Joined by his brother Jimmy, tackle Mike McGlinchey took kids from Autism Speaks and Football Camp for the Stars shopping at the Levi’s store at the Westfield Valley Fair mall.

The D-Line

20 kids from the Fam 1st Family Foundation joined the 49ers’ defensive line and Visa to take part in holiday shopping at Shoe Palace. Players who participated included Arik Armstead, Alex Barrett, DeForest Buckner, Sheldon Day, Kevin Givens, Damontre Moore, Kentavius Street, and Jullian Taylor.

George Kittle

TE George Kittle and the Jessie Rees Foundation teamed up to pass out JoyJars that contained toys and games at a Bay Area children’s hospital. TE Garrett Celek, TE Ross Dwelley, TE Daniel Helms, QB Nick Mullens, and LB Fred Warner joined Kittle.

I created Fangirl Sports Network as a place for female sports fans to follow their favorite teams with content and coverage that speaks directly to females. It started with one and then eight and now 32 NFL Fangirls and 15 NBA Fangirls.
