Welp, it looks like the game against the Arizona Cardinals was an anomaly, as the San Francisco 49ers were back to their old ways against the New England Patriots. It’s not that I thought they’d win, but I did think they could build upon the positives from the Cardinals game and compete. But, no. So, the Niners are now 1-9 and have tied a franchise record losing nine in a row. Congratulations? I don’t think so.

Once again, San Francisco looked good in the first half and fell apart in the second. Maybe the games really are too long. Either way, here’s where we are.

On this week’s Talking Touchdowns podcast, Steph and I are joined by our fearless leader, Niners Nation’s David Fucillo. We delve into all things 49ers, including:

  • A recap of the Patriots game, because we wanted to torture ourselves and rehash that
  • The reality of Trent Baalke being the 49ers General Manager next year and Chip Kelly being the coach
  • Why we think Kelly deserves another year
  • Who we would draft right now if we had to pick
  • The upcoming game against the Miami Dolphins
  • And the various teams 49er fans should be rooting for in the coming weeks.

Six weeks to go my Faithful friends. As always, we are in this together.
