- Welcome to New York! Anthony’s first full season in the Bronx is off to a pretty great start. Not only do the Yankees currently hold the best record in baseball, but Anthony already has 9 homers, good enough for second most in the league!
- Piano time! You guessed it, one of Anthony’s lesser known talents is playing the piano. He started taking lessons during Spring Training 2016, and went from performing songs like “Let It Go” for his teammates to playing Coldplay for all of IG to see!
- AKA Kevin’s dad. The only thing in Anthony’s IG bio, Kevin is in fact his pup, a dachshund to be exact! The goodest member of the Rizzo family, Kevin was even featured on a pair of Anthony’s cleats last season.
- The gift of a lifetime! Back in 2018, Anthony revealed that the best gift he ever gave was an engagement ring and the best gift he ever received was his now-wife Emily saying yes. How sweet is that?!
- Summertime means Italian ice! Believe it or not, Anthony has his very own flavor. Lyndhurst Pastry Shop, a local New Jersey shop he’d often visit growing up, actually has an ice named “Anthony Rizzo”. It features a half chocolate and half vanilla combo!
