2.“She the North!” A play on the NBA Champion Toronto Raptors’ slogan, this is the nickname fans in Canada have given Bianca. It’s a pretty fitting and well-deserved nickname if you ask us. Afterall, she’s the FIRST Canadian to EVER win a Grand Slam Singles Title.
3. You go Coco! Bianca’s biggest fan is her 7-pound poodle, Coco. Even though pups aren’t usually permitted in the seats at the US Open, an exception was made that allowed Coco to sit with the rest of Bianca’s family during her matches. And she’s the cutest pup we’ve ever seen!
4. Can ya girl get a shoutout? A big fan of hip-hop music and Drake, Bianca’s still waiting on her fellow Canadian to congratulate her on her new hardware. Maybe she’ll get a mention in one of his new tracks? #surreal
5. She’s a Fangirl, too! Bianca’s a fan of the Toronto Raptors, Toronto Blue Jays, and Toronto FC. She’s even thrown out the first pitch and delivered the match ball while attending games.
