1. Buckeye legend. C.J. holds the Ohio State record for most pass yards in a single game (573) and is the first to throw six touchdowns three times. He sits second on the all-time pass yards list (8,123) and touchdowns (85) list.
  2. Student of YouTube. C.J. couldn’t afford a quarterback coach in high school. Instead, he would study YouTube clips of quarterbacks such as Drew Brees to pick up tips.
  3. Cool Breeze. That’s the nickname C.J.’s friends and family call him by because of his calm personality. C.J. is also a nickname, short for his full name Coleridge Bernard Stroud IV.
  4. Treating Mom. In high school, C.J. lived in an apartment above the storage facility his mother managed after his father was incarcerated. For Christmas, C.J. showed his appreciation by buying a house for his mom with his endorsement money.
  5. Big Ten’s Big Man. C.J. was named the Big Ten’s offensive player of the year and quarterback of the year in both his seasons at Ohio State. He is also the first QB in Big Ten history to throw 30+ TD passes in back-to-back seasons.
