1. Alex attended Helix Charter High School where he played alongside fellow NFL player, Reggie Bush. They both were finalists for the 2004 Heisman Trophy.

2. Alex attended the University of Utah. He posted a 21-1 record as a starter. He was selected as the Mountain West Conference player of the year in 2004 and led his team to to victories in the 2003 Liberty Bowl and 2005 Fiesta Bowl.

3. In 2011, Alex led the 49ers to their first winning season, first NFC West division title, and first playoff victory since 2002, along with their first NFC Championship appearance since 1997.

4. Alex was the first round draft pick in 2005 by the San Francisco 49ers. He just started his fifth season with the Chiefs after joining them in 2013 in a trade with the 49ers. Thank you 49ers!

5. He is on top of his game and keeps getting better! So far this year, he has completed 77 percent of his passes with seven touchdowns and no interceptions. His passer rating is an absurd 124.2!

I hope you enjoyed learning more about our favorite quarterback. Maybe next year we add Super Bowls champs to this list?
