- Chloe made history in 2018 when she won her first Olympic gold medal, becoming the youngest halfpipe Olympic gold medalist ever. No big deal, just casually dominating the sport at 17.
- Lucky Ritual. Before every run, Chloe knocks twice on her snowboard for good luck. A little “knock on wood” moment before she goes out and crushes the halfpipe.
- Chloe’s parents are first-generation South Korean immigrants, so when she made her Olympic debut at PyeongChang 2018, it was more than just a competition, it was a homecoming. And of course, she took home the gold.
- When she’s not stacking Olympic medals, Chloe is hitting the books. She attended Princeton University and speaks three languages. As Ilona Maher would say, “Beast, beauty, brains!”
- On January 25th, Chloe made history (again) as the female athlete with the most X Games SuperPipe golds, securing her eighth title and tying Shaun White for the most superpipe golds in history! If she keeps this up, she could become the first snowboarder ever to win gold at three straight Olympics in 2026!
