  1. After 12 seasons in the NFL, DeAndre Hopkins is finally making his FIRST Super Bowl appearance this Sunday. Now, he’s not just looking to add to his legendary career – he wants a ring!
  2. You probably know him as “DHop,” but his OG nickname is “Nuk,” thanks to his mom, who said he went through Nuk pacifiers like crazy as a baby. Given his hands, it’s safe to say he never outgrew the ‘no drops’ mentality.
  3. Speaking of hands, DeAndre has one of the lowest drop rates in NFL history. In 2018, he didn’t drop a single pass (!!!), and across his entire career, he’s only dropped 35 of 1,465 targets. Translation? If the ball’s coming his way, it’s getting caught.
  4. DeAndre honors his parents in deeply personal ways. His mother Sabrina was blinded in a 2002 acid attack, and since then, Hopkins has made it a tradition to hand her the football after every touchdown he scores. And in tribute to his late father, who passed away in a car accident, DeAndre plans to wear his cherished mink jacket to the Super Bowl.
  5. DeAndre has been into fashion since childhood, so much so that people used to call him “Ralph” because he wore so much Ralph Lauren. He’s got a top-tier wardrobe (his prized possession is a vintage Maison Margiela vest, one of only three ever made), and one day, he wants to design clothes for women that represent all body types. No stylists needed!
