1. Touchdown! Before giving the sweetest interview with Young Dylan, Deebo scored what would be the game-winning TD against the Cowboys. But get this. Right before the play, Deebo told Coach Shanahan to give him the ball because he knew he would deliver!
  2. It’s Friday. Born Tyshun Samuel, Deebo can thank his father for his infamous nickname. Inspired by the movie “Friday”, Deebo got the nickname because he was mischievous and a bit of a bully as a child, just like the character Deebo in the movie!
  3. Motherly love. Growing up in South Carolina, Deebo was raised by his stepmom, Precious, who he says saved his life. From helping him focus on school to making sure he didn’t give up on his football dreams, Precious has been guiding him through it all!
  4. Slime time! After winning NVP (Nickelodeon Valuable Player) of Week 18, Deebo was awarded the coveted Nickelodeon Blimp, and got to live out every 90s kid’s dream of getting slimed. But who had the honor of sliming him? None other than Jimmy G!
  5. What’s on the menu? During the most adorable interview with 49ers Kid Reporters, Deebo gave us some hints. While he names fried chicken as the one food he could eat for the rest of his life, he would NEVER eat raw sushi!
