  1. Josh Hart might be the only NBA player fueled primarily by hustle… and Mike and Ikes. Hart is famous for eating candy before games and once traded a fan an autograph for two boxes of Mike and Ikes. During the 2024 playoffs, the candy company even made him a custom “Josh Hart 3 Point Mix.”
  2. Before becoming the ultimate Knicks glue guy, Josh earned the highest rank in Boy Scouts, Eagle Scout. Which tracks for someone who plays basketball like he’s trying to complete side quests for the entire team.
  3. NBA Finals run, powered by the Nova Knicks. Alongside fellow Villanova Wildcats men’s basketball guys Jalen Brunson and Mikal Bridges, Hart helped lead the New York Knicks to their first NBA Finals appearance in decades. The trio is now one of the only groups of former college teammates in NBA history to reach the Finals together.
  4. He’s one of the funniest players on the internet, and there’s proof. Between the Roommates Show podcast and X, Josh has gone viral for everything from debating whether people taste breast milk to openly admitting he once pooped in a pool as a kid. NBA media training definitely gave up on him years ago (tgod!).
  5. He’s somehow both a playoff hero and the king of getting left hanging. For years, compilation videos of Hart unsuccessfully trying to high-five teammates have gone viral across the internet. Instead of being embarrassed, he leaned into the joke so hard that he now sometimes high fives himself mid-game.
