- Speaking into existence. When Justin was nine years old, he filled out a questionnaire and predicted that he would be a pro football player living in Los Angeles when he grew up. At 11, he wrote that the Chargers were his favorite team…talk about manifesting.
- Baseball or football? Justin was thinking about playing baseball in college when he didn’t get many football offers coming out of high school. The University of Oregon gave him an offer late in his senior year where he would go on to win the Rose Bowl in 2020.
- Return your shopping cart! Justin’s biggest pet peeve is when people leave their shopping carts in the middle of the parking lot. Former teammate Gabe Nabers told ESPN the one time he saw Justin got mad was when Gabe tried to leave his shopping cart in the middle of the road and Justin insisted it be returned to its proper place.
- Book smart. Justin majored in Biology at the University of Oregon where he had a 4.0 GPA. He says he would have been a doctor if his football career didn’t work out.
- Low maintenance haircut. Justin isn’t picky when it comes to his haircut and isn’t a fan of paying for one. He once let a Chargers coach cut his hair in the weight room when he found out the coach cut his son’s hair.
