- Louisiana Legend. Kim grew up in Tickfaw, Louisiana, played college ball at Louisiana Tech, and now leads LSU Women’s Basketball. A hometown hero through and through.
- With four National Championships under her belt, Kim is the only coach in women’s college basketball history to win titles with multiple programs (Baylor and LSU). She also recently became the quickest basketball coach (men’s or women’s) in LSU history to reach 100 wins! Talk about GOAT status!
- Fashion Icon. Sequins, feathers, tiger prints, oh my! Kim is known for serving looks on the sidelines. Since joining LSU, she’s stepped up her game, often sporting designs by LSU grads and keeping her style as fierce as her coaching.
- Coaching champions runs in the family. Kim’s son Kramer was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals, and her daughter Makenzie played basketball and softball at Baylor before joining Kim’s staff at LSU.
- When it’s gameday, Kim gets hyped with her Louisiana roots on full display. One of her go-to tracks? “Callin’ Baton Rouge” by Brooks Jefferson. It doesn’t get more LSU than that!
