- Don’t look now, but here come the Patriots! The Pats are riding a six-game win streak all the way to the top of the AFC East, and Mac is a big reason why. After passing for a career-high 310 yards on Sunday, Mac will look to take down the Bills in a HUGE Week 13 matchup!
- His name is actually just a nickname! Mac’s full name is Michael McCorkle Jones, but he’s really always gone by “Mac”. That’s the shortened version of his middle name, “McCorkle”, which also happens to be his mom’s maiden name!
- Tennis is in his blood. Yup, you read that right! Mac actually comes from a family of tennis players. His dad even played professionally, so it’s no surprise he grew up playing, too. Mac says he LOVES tennis, and just might get back into it after the whole NFL thing!
- Can your QB speak Mandarin? Mac can! For his language elective back in high school, Mac decided to take Mandarin. He started studying the language his freshman year simply because he thought it would be something interesting and cool to learn!
- Spaghetti with…steak and eggs? Believe it or not, that’s the exact meal Mac has before every single game. It’s a routine he started in college, and he really sticks to it. In fact, Mac says he’s even enjoyed this interesting dish at six in the morning before 11am games!
