  1. History in Augusta! On April 13th, Rory finally got his green jacket, winning The Masters in a playoff against Justin Rose and completing the career Grand Slam. He’s now just the sixth golfer in history to win all four majors.
  2. Rory’s been working with the same golf coach, Michael Bannon, since he was 8 years old. Hey, when you’ve got a good thing going, you keep the dream team intact!
  3. Rory from Hollywood! No, not that Hollywood. Rory hails from Hollywood, County Down in Northern Ireland, which might not have red carpets, but it did produce one of the biggest stars in golf.
  4. Rory dropped out of high school at just 16 to chase his golf dreams. His parents were all in, even picking up extra jobs to support him, and clearly, that gamble paid off.
  5. In 2012, Rory was awarded an MBE – aka Member of the British Empire – for his contributions to sport. It’s one of the highest honors you can receive in the U.K., and yes, it does sound like something out of Bridgerton.
