  1. Every time Sam lights the lamp, his charity ‘Benny’s Buddies’ covers an adoption fee at the Humane Society of Broward County, because his goals = shelter pups getting their fur-ever homes. Talk about scoring both on and off the ice!
  2. Sam just made history as the FIRST-EVER Florida Panther to snag the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP, after leading all post-game scorers with 15 goals and setting an NHL record with 13 goals on the road. MVP MVP!
  3. Hailing from Holland Landing, Ontario, Bennett played minor hockey from 2009–2014, and rushed into the NHL with Calgary in 2015. He notched his first career point just 33 seconds into his debut (after a short shoulder rehab), and babe, he’s been racking them up ever since!
  4. He ended the postseason with 15 goals, 13 of which came on the road, a brand new NHL single-postseason road-goals record! If you need a sign he *thrives* in hostile arenas, here it is.
  5. Drafted 4th overall in 2014 and debuting in 2015, Sam has already secured back-to-back Stanley Cup rings in 2024 and 2025 before hitting 30 (and still counting!!) Dynasty in the making, and he’s the firestarter.
