  1. He wins everywhere he goes! World Baseball Classic? Gold. Olympics? Gold. Japan’s NPB league? Champion. 2025? World Series MVP. At this point, Yoshi collects rings the way we collect bedazzled jerseys.
  2. They not like Yoshi. At just 27‑years‑old, he made history with the Dodgers, pitching a dominant 17 ⅔ innings in the Series, posting a 1.02 ERA, 15 K’s and locking down a three‑win World Series run (first time since Randy Johnson in 2001). He’s *that* kind of clutch.
  3. Before he was striking out batters under the LA lights, little Yoshi was catching and playing third base in Okayama, Japan…and crying after every loss. He said, “losing is not an option,” and he meant it.
  4. His grandma named him Yoshinobu by combining “Yoshi” from his mom’s name and “Nobu” from his dad’s. And yes, his fam has been his day-one biggest fans since first grade T-ball.
  5. Yoshi’s secret weapon? A judo therapist named Osamu Yada, who’s been training him since he was 18 with flexibility-focused routines (no lifting). Some even say he “tricked” Yoshi into starting Game 7. Mind-body connection on another level!
