  1. Freddie is a California kid through and through. His Canadian parents met up north, but it was his dad Fred who taught him baseball right here in California when Freddie was just 4-years-old.
  2. Freddie made history in Game 4 of the World Series, smashing a first-inning homer to become the first player EVER to homer in six consecutive World Series games!
  3. Freddie owes his record-breaking career to the support of his parents, Rosemary and Fred. His mom, who passed away when he was just 10, was his “rock,” and inspired him to dive into baseball with everything he had. His dad has been his batting practice partner since day one, and Freddie even dedicated his walk-off grand slam in Game 1 of the World Series to him, showcasing the special bond that fuels his success.
  4. Freddie and his wife Chelsea have been together since 2011, and their wedding day was so epic, it was featured on ‘Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta.’ Freddie says that day “surpassed everything I’ve accomplished.”
  5. Freddie hit his first home run at age nine, nearly taking out his mom, who was walking the family dog around the outfield. She wasn’t fazed, instead, she picked up the ball and yelled, “I can’t believe it; we have a home-run hitter!”
