Calling all 49ers’ fashionistas! The San Francisco 49ers have launched a limited edition PRIDE capsule collection and all pieces were designed by the team’s LGBTQ+ employees.

From the 49ers, “The collection is an ideation and creation from queer, and ally, San Francisco 49ers employees, with the sentiment that we are not only Faithful to the Bay, but also Faithful to all of the community in it.”

The 49ers are the first organization in the NFL to have an internally designed and released LGBTQ+ collection, with 49ers P.L.U.S. (Pride, Leadership & Unity in Sports) being the first of only two LGBTQ+ employee resource groups in the league. This tracks with the 49ers’ long history of work in the community and support for the community.

“The 49ers Pride Capsule Collection is a powerful testament to the strength, unity, and inclusivity of our 49ers Faithful,” said Christina Jefferson, Senior Director, Inclusion and Culture. “Born from the creativity and dedication of our P.L.U.S. employee resource group, this collection reflects our commitment to ensuring that football truly is for everyone. We were inspired by Bay Area’s the legacy of queer activism that has helped create a community of belonging. We are thrilled to be offering these new items both online and in-person on gamedays.”

The collection can be found here.
