- Mike Vrabel is back in New England! This time, as head coach. As a player, he helped the team win three Super Bowls and earned his spot in the Patriots Hall of Fame. Now, he’s ready to add to his legacy in Foxborough from the sidelines.
- Born and raised in Akron, Ohio, Vrabel stayed close to home and became a star at Ohio State. He was a consensus All-American and later kicked off his coaching career there.
- The Vrabel family is all about sports! Mike’s wife Jen was a two-time All-Big Ten volleyball star at Ohio State, and their sons, Tyler and Carter, played college football and baseball, respectively.
- College Sweethearts. Mike met his wife at Ohio State in a class they were both taking. The Buckeye lovebirds tied the knot in 1999, and the rest is history.
- Mike is all about paying it forward, and co-founded the 2nd and 7 Foundation with his Ohio State teammates. The foundation promotes literacy and encourages young athletes to give back and make an impact in their Ohio community.
