  1. Mike Vrabel is back in New England! This time, as head coach. As a player, he helped the team win three Super Bowls and earned his spot in the Patriots Hall of Fame. Now, he’s ready to add to his legacy in Foxborough from the sidelines.
  2. Born and raised in Akron, Ohio, Vrabel stayed close to home and became a star at Ohio State. He was a consensus All-American and later kicked off his coaching career there.
  3. The Vrabel family is all about sports! Mike’s wife Jen was a two-time All-Big Ten volleyball star at Ohio State, and their sons, Tyler and Carter, played college football and baseball, respectively.
  4. College Sweethearts. Mike met his wife at Ohio State in a class they were both taking. The Buckeye lovebirds tied the knot in 1999, and the rest is history.
  5. Mike is all about paying it forward, and co-founded the 2nd and 7 Foundation with his Ohio State teammates. The foundation promotes literacy and encourages young athletes to give back and make an impact in their Ohio community.
