  1. The Unlikely Buckeye. During his 2020 recruiting process, Ohio State wasn’t even on Will’s radar (or vice versa.) Fast forward to now, and he’s QB1 for the Buckeyes, proving that second chances are everything when it comes to chasing championships.
  2. Before transferring to Ohio State, Will set the record for the most touchdown passes in Kansas State history with 48. He’s one of only four quarterbacks in Wildcats history to throw for 40+ touchdowns – elite company, indeed!
  3. On Monday night, Will led the Buckeyes to their first National Championship in 10 years, throwing for over 1,000 yards in the College Football Playoff – a first in CFP history. Unsurprisingly, he snagged Offensive MVP honors, too!
  4. Hometown Hero. Born and raised in Downingtown, Pennsylvania, Will never forgets his roots. After the National Championship win, he gave a shoutout to everyone who bet on him back home, saying, “I wouldn’t be here without them.”
  5. Will’s family have been his biggest supporters from day one!. His mom created the “magic sleep suit” to help him sleep better as a baby, which turned into a family business and an Amazon hit before they sold the company in 2021. Now, Will’s the one working magic on the field!
