1994 vs 2016: Let’s Do This Ramily

By September 9, 2016 No Comments

Happy Football Los Angeles! How good does it feel to say that? Very good. As you know, the Los Angeles Rams have brought the NFL back to LA after leaving the city 22 years ago. But there is no crying in football, because our guys in the blue and gold are back and rocking our beautiful city!

A lot has been going on since 1994, which, FUN FACT, is the year QB and the NFL’s 2016 #1 draft pick, Jared Goff, was born.

In today’s 1994 vs. 2016 video, I take a look at what it was like when the Rams left in 1994, while looking at how much has changed…or maybe not. From movies to television to politics to music to, of course, the Rams, it is amazing to see both the differences and similarities in that can happen over two decades.

Here are some highlights:

  • Tom Hanks is still the man.
  • The Rams went offense in the 1994 draft but it wasn’t quarterback.
  • A San Francisco family was on our airwaves then and is back.
  • A familiar name is trying to get back to her 1994 home of the White House.
  • The music atop the charts does not sound alike.
  • And I’m hoping this year’s Super Bowl has a different NFC team.
