Alright Rams Fans, I’ll say it, that sucked! It was so heartbreaking and frustrating at the same time. I really thought we could secure the W, but we’ve got no time to dwell on it because our Rams are back on the road all the way to London town to take on the New York Giants. Here are a few things to keep your eye on!
- Case Keenum played the best game of the season on Sunday vs the Detroit Lions, but it just wasn’t enough. Keenum completed 27 of 32 passes for a career-best 321 yards and three touchdowns and added another touchdown on the ground. But, he failed to come through during crunch time when he threw a game deciding interception in the 4th quarter.
- Todd Gurley finished the game with just 58 yards on 14 rushes. He also had four receptions for 49 yards. Kenny Britt on the other hand, had a season high seven receptions and 136 yards. While things are getting better on the offensive side of the ball, they still come up short. Keenum has to better in the fourth quarter, and the offensive line will have their work cut out for them against the Giants’ star defensive ends Jason Pierre Paul & Olivier Vernon.
- The Rams defense must contain the Giants’ prolific receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who had eight catches for 222 yards and two touchdowns last week. Eli Manning and the Giants offense has struggled at times this year, so its going to take some extra effort by our defensive backs to slow that connection down.
- Because of multiple injuries, the Giants haven’t had much stability at running back position as they’ve been forced to use five different running backs already. What does that mean for us? The Giants offense will have to continue living or dying by the passing game. Rams Defensive backs, GET YOUR GAME FACE ON!
Now you will have to watch and see my game prediction and let me know if think I’m crazy, or if you’re with me!
