Seattle Seahawks vs. Tennessee Titans
The Seahawks have got me on an emotional rollercoaster this season. Coming off of last week’s exhilarating win only to be disappointed by defeat this week at the hands of the Tennessee Titans. Seattle has now lost six straight road games in the month of September with their last victory coming in week four of 2013 against the Texans.
Luckily we’re heading back to Century Link Field to face the Andrew Luck-less Indianapolis Colts.
Seattle Seahawks vs. Indianapolis Colts
The Matchup
- Like I just said, Andrew Luck is still out which means Jacoby Brissett will be at the helm for at least one more week. Brissett’s improvement, in just his second start with the team, was the major reason for the Colts first and only victory last Sunday where the QB ran for two TDs and threw for another.
- Richard Sherman will be matched up against the Colts top receiver who I imagine will be T.Y. Hilton and he’ll have to keep tight man coverage on the wideout who just tallied 153 yards on seven receptions and a TD.
- Brissett was sacked three times last week and that was against the Browns. The Seahawks’ pass rush should have a field day against a weak Indy O-line.
- Lastly, if Browns rookie QB DeShone Kizer can have his way with the Colts defense, throwing two TD’s and rushing for one of his own, then I expect Russell Wilson and Chris Carson to run all over them this week.
Game Prediction
I’m predicting an offensive surge for the Hawks resulting in a commanding, morale building 28-7 victory. I am 0-3 on game predictions so far this season and looking for my first win, so don’t let me down Seattle!
Go Hawks!
