It’s November 11, 2014, and the San Francisco 49ers have some good news and some very bad news.
The Good News – Aldon Smith is officially rejoining the team today!
The Bad News – According to a number of sources, Patrick Willis needs to have season-ending toe surgery.
The Good News with the Bad News – Chris Borland has done a great job in Willis’s absence thus far and I have full confidence he will continue to do so. That being said, there’s no way around it, losing Willis is a blow to this team.
