Denver Broncos vs. New York Giants
Hey Broncos faithful! the Broncos had plenty of time to rest up and prepare for Week 6 after a bye week. They’ll look to make their record 4-1 against a weak (and getting weaker) 0-5 NY Giants. We’ll talk more about the storylines in this week’s edition of Talking Touchdowns.
I’m sure you all saw my quarterly report card, so there’s no need to go into too much detail about the Broncos pros and cons. But what I will say is the Broncos need to use this game to execute all facets of the game. I believe doing the little things right is what will win you championships, and this week, the Broncos can use this game to do just that. Both Jamaal Charles and CJ Anderson have proven the running game is a key piece to the team’s success, but the Broncos can work on creating a more balanced running game between the two. Pass protection has to improve as well, because we’ve seen Trevor Siemian at his best when he has time to throw. The Broncos secondary can also use this game to hold the Giants to minimal passing yards.
Now let’s look at the opponent. I first want to give a shout out to Chargers Fangirl Shelbi for getting a Win!! Props to you girl! But the fact is……Yes….the Giants lost to the Chargers to make them 0-5 (that’s their worst start in Giants history), Their defense is ranked 26th overall and their offense ranks 19th in the NFL. And fun fact they haven’t beaten the Broncos in 12 years. Not to mention they lost Odell Beckham Jr. to an ankle injury on Sunday, who led the team in receiving yards.
My Game prediction is Broncos 35 – Giants 7.
