Oakland Raiders vs. Kansas City Chiefs

What’s up Raider Nation?! It’s Talking Touchdowns time, and I am happy to report that the Oakland Raiders won a thriller against the division rival the Kansas City Chiefs, 31-30. The silver and black will look to build on that last second win as they take a long trip Orchard Park, New York.

Raiders quarterback Derek Carr threw for 417 yards and three touchdowns. His last pass was the game-winning touchdown, which left no time remaining. It was Carr’s first game passing for over 300 yards this season.

Raiders wide receiver Amari Cooper had over half of Carr’s yards with 210 receiving yards and two touchdowns. It was the first time Cooper had eclipsed triple digits in yardage this year.

Oakland Raiders vs. Buffalo Bills

The Raiders will be on the road this week when they take on the Buffalo Bills. The Bills, like the Raiders, are coming off of a close victory at home against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Buffalo Bills made mistakes in the fourth quarter on Sunday, but they redeemed themselves with game-saving plays.

LeSean McCoy scored a late touchdown after losing a fumble and rookie cornerback Tre‘Davious White forced a fumble that led to the winning field goal after giving up a go-ahead touchdown in the Bills’ 30-27 comeback victory over the Buccaneers.

If the Raiders want to take their winning streak to two, they are going to have to contain McCoy.

Even after beating the Chiefs last week, the Raiders are still 3-4 and last place in their division. They must begin winning consistently to have a chance at the playoffs.

Game Prediction

The Raiders need this game on the road if they want to contend for a spot in the playoffs. In the coming weeks we’ll see how resilient this team truly is. Even with the loss of Marshawn Lynch to a one game suspension, I believe the offense will still continue to have the firepower it displayed in last week’s win. I’m taking the silver and black in a shootout 27-20.
