USA! USA!

As the United States men’s national team moves on to its Saturday match against the Netherlands, it looks like it will do so with Christian Pulisic on the field. Pulisic suffered a pelvic contusion in the US’s 1-0 victory over Iran, and he suffered it while scoring that one goal.

US Soccer confirmed Friday that Pulisic had been cleared for game action. The US will take on the Netherlands on Saturday at 10 am ET/7:00 am PT on FOX.

Kawhi Leonard and Paul George

The Los Angeles Clippers may just have their dynamic duo of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George back on the court soon, like very soon. Both were able to practice on Friday, with head coach Ty Lue saying both are questionable for Saturday’s game against the red-hot Sacramento Kings.

Leonard has missed five games with a sprained right ankle, while George has missed six games with a right hamstring tendon strain. Both of those things sound painful.

Tip-off from crypto.com Arena is Saturday at 4 pm ET/1 pm PT.

Milwaukee Brewers

Fangirling over the Milwaukee Brewers, who have promoted Marti Wronski to chief operating officer of the organization. The promotion makes Wronski the only woman to hold the title of COO for a major league franchise. The 2023 season will be her 20th with Milwaukee.

Caroline O’Connor is the President of Business Operations for the Miami Marlins, while Kim Ng serves as their GM. Catie Griggs is the President of Business Operations for the Seattle Mariners.

Who run MLB, and the world? You already know.
