AFC and NFC Championship Schedule
The NFL is down to its final four teams, as the Baltimore Ravens, Kansas City Chiefs, San Francisco 49ers and Detroit Lions are playing for a chance to go to Las Vegas for the Super Bowl on Feb. 11. But when do they play, you ask? Don’t worry. We got you.
Sunday, January 28
AFC Championship
Kansas City Chiefs at Baltimore Ravens – 3 pm ET/Noon PT on CBS
NFC Championship
Detroit Lions at San Francisco 49ers – 6:30 pm ET/3:30 pm PT on FOX
Mark Andrews
The Baltimore Ravens have activated TE Mark Andrews off the Injured Reserve list, and he will play on Sunday.
Andrews suffered an injury to his left ankle in the Ravens Nov. 16 win over the Cincinnati Bengals and has been out ever since. However, he has been on the practice field the last two weeks and was a full participant this week. Great timing for Lamar Jackson and the Ravens.
More AFC Championship Injury Status Updates
- For the Chiefs – S Mike Edwards (concussion), RB Isiah Pacheco (ankle/toe), LB Willie Gay (neck) and WR Kadarius Toney (hip) are listed as questionable for Sunday. Derrick Nnadi, Skyy Moore (IR), Prince Tega Wanogho (IR) and Joe Thuney are out.
- For the Ravens – CB Marlon Humphrey (calf) is questionable, WR Tylan Wallace (knee) and CB Rock Ya-Sin (knee) are questionable. LB Del’Shawn Phillips (shoulder) is doubtful.
NFC Championship Injury Status Updates
- For the Lions – G Jonah Jackson (knee) and WR Kalif Raymond (knee) are both out, while QB Hendon Hooker (tooth) and CB Chase Lucas (illness) are questionable.
- For the 49ers – WR Deebo Samuel (shoulder) is good to go for Sunday’s game. That is a literal game changer for San Francisco.
NFL Coaching Hires
- Jim Harbaugh is leaving the University of Michigan to become the head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers. Shed a tear, or in my case many tears. In related news, the Chargers have a new Fangirl! Bolt up!
- The Atlanta Falcons have hired former Los Angeles Rams defensive coordinator Raheem Morris to be their head coach.
- The Carolina Panthers have hired former Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator Dave Canales to be their head coach.
- The Tennessee Titans have hired former Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan to be their head coach.
