MLB Playoffs

My friends, the Wild Card is over, and Major League Baseball is on to the Division Series. I don’t want anyone to think the Padres-Dodgers matchup is giving me anxiety more than 24 hours before Game 1 or anything 🫠. Fun Fact: three of the four series feature division rivals. This is going to be fun.

Behold the weekend schedule below:

Saturday
Tigers at Guardians – 1:08 pm ET/10:08 am PT on TBS/truTV/Max
Mets at Phillies – 4:08 pm ET/1:08 pm PT on FOX
Royals at Yankees – 6:38 pm ET/3:38 pm PT on TBS/Max
Padres at Dodgers – 8:38 pm ET/5:38 pm PT on FS1

Sunday
Mets at Phillies – 4:08 pm ET/1:08 pm PT on FS1
Padres at Dodgers – 8:03 pm ET/5:03 pm PT on FS1

MLB Weekend Pitching Matchups:

After writing the last slide, it occurred to me that you might like to know who’s pitching on Saturday. If you don’t, well, these things are only about 15 seconds long.

Game 1 of Mets at Phillies – RHP Kodai Senga (NYM) vs. RHP Zack Wheeler (Phillies)

Tiffany Hayes and the Las Vegas Aces

Congratulations to Las Vegas Aces’ guard Tiffany Hayes for receiving the WNBA’s Sixth Person of the Year award. The Aces have boasted the award in five of the last six seasons.

This season was Hayes’ 12th – and she announced her last – and first with the Aces. She averaged 9.5 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game this season.
