- In 2021, Aaron was selected to pitch on Opening Day for the fourth time in a row, breaking the record for the longest streak by a Phillies player since Steve Carolton in 1977-1986.
- Brother vs. Brother. Aaron has an older brother Austin who is the catcher for the Padres. The duo are the first brothers in the Major League postseason to face each other as pitcher and batter!
- Dog lover. Aaron has two Bernedoodles named Boone and Boudreaux! They even have their own Instagram page @booneandboudreaux. We’re obsessed to say the least.
- Baby Nola is on the way! Aaron recently announced on October 5th that he and his wife Hunter are expecting their first child. Getting a front row seat to the postseason before you’re even born? That’s one lucky baby!
- #Vanlife. Aaron spent his off-season traveling coast to coast in a van with his wife and his first dog Boone. Aaron has always loved traveling, and was inspired by a multitude of YouTube videos to fix up their van for hitting the road.
