1. Rewrote the record books. DeVonta set many records in his college career at Alabama including most receiving TD in a season for the SEC (23, 2020), most receiving yards in a season for Alabama (1,856, 2020) and most career TD by a Power-5 player in the nation (46). In 2020, he became the first wide receiver to win the Heisman Trophy since 1991.
  2. DeVonta’s jambalaya. DeVonta enjoys cooking in his downtime and is known for his jambalaya. He likes his jambalaya spicy but not too spicy, admitting that he takes the shortcut using Zatarain’s mix.
  3. Bleeding another shade of green. Sorry Sixers fans, but DeVonta is actually a Boston Celtics fan. He became a fan thanks to Rajon Rondo, who played for the Celtics from 2006-14.
  4. Golden arches pregame. DeVonta’s go-to pregame meal is a McDonald’s Chicken McGriddle Sandwich with two hash browns and a glass of orange juice. He gets the meal every home game and started the tradition as a rookie with the Eagles.
  5. Top Eagle. DeVonta set the Eagles record for most receptions by a wide receiver in a single season when he caught his 89th reception of the year in Week 18. Last season, he set the Eagles rookie record for most receiving yards in a single season (916).
