Fun Facts About Geno Smith:

 

1. Trademark that! Geno filed a trademark for the line “They wrote me off. I ain’t write back though,” after he said the remark during a postgame celebration in Week 1 when the Seahawks defeated the Broncos on Monday Night Football. The interview went viral on the internet.
2. Monumental Mountaineer. Geno was inducted to the West Virginia University Hall of Fame Class of 2022. He set 33 Mountaineer game, season, class and career records when he was quarterback at WVU from 2009-12.
3. Artist roots. Geno was an artist in high school and almost went to art school for college, but they didn’t have football teams. He used to love drawing superheroes and now mostly just doodles and enjoys going to art museums.
4. Gifted student. As a child, Geno was labeled gifted after taking an intelligence test with a high score. His mother decided against him skipping a grade but instead put him in advanced curriculum courses that focused on writing poetry, acting in school plays and competing in chess tournaments.
5. From Jay-Z to jazz. Geno is a fan of all genres of music. He likes to listen to anything from Jay-Z to Kanye West before games to rock and roll and jazz music!
