- Top of the game. Iga is currently ranked No. 1 in the world and currently has four major career singles titles including her third French Open win this year. She is the first player from Poland to ever be ranked No. 1.
- Legos and Ukleles. Iga travels full time with a sports psychologist who helps her manage the mental aspect of tennis. Iga’s psychologist introduced her to building Legos and gifted her a ukulele to help control her emotions.
- Pregame rock. Iga might be a huge Taylor Swift fan, but she listens to rock music before matches with a playlist that includes AC/DC, Led Zeppelin and Guns N’ Roses. Her go to warm up song was “Welcome to the Jungle.”
- Crazy cat lover. Iga has a black cat named Grappa. She named her after the Italian liquor which happens to be her favorite drink!
- Team Dean, Jess or Logan? Iga’s favorite TV show on Netflix to watch is “Gilmore Girls.” She has watched the entire series twice and likes the show’s sarcastic/witty sense of humor.
