1. Historic comeback. Kirk helped lead the Vikings to the largest comeback in NFL history with their 39-36 overtime win against the Colts to clinch the NFC North on Saturday. Down 33-0 at halftime, Kirk threw a career-high 460 pass yards and 4 touchdowns to seal the victory.
  2. Viral blazer. To top off the epic comeback, Kirk sported a purple and gold blazer featuring the Vikings logo all over in his postgame press conference. He credited his wife, Julie, for picking out the viral outfit for him the night before.
  3. Flair for the dramatics. Kirk participated in musical theater in high school where he starred in his school’s production of “Oklahoma!” and performed in an acapella singing group. He still appreciates the theater, rapping a song from the musical “Hamilton” during practice in a video that went viral in 2017.
  4. “You like that!” Back in 2015 while with the Redskins, Kirk became an internet meme for screaming the phrase after a victory, which led him to  file for a trademark of the phrase. In November, the phrase lived on with Kirk’s Vikings teammates starting a “You like that!” chant in the locker room after defeating the Redskins.
  5. Chain cam. Back in Week 4, Kirk put on teammate Christian Darrisaw’s chain after their win against the Saints. It was Kirk’s first time wearing a chain and it now has become a superstition where his teammates put their chains around him after wins.
