- The greatest ever! Oksana finished the 2022 Games as the most decorated American Winter Paralympian of ALLTIME! She added seven (yes, SEVEN!) more medals to her collection in Beijing, bringing her Winter career total to 14.
- Remember those seven medals we mentioned? Well, Oksana competed in exactly seven events during this year’s games, meaning she made the podium in EVERY event she entered! BTW, that’s the most medals won by an American in one Winter Paralympics!
- “To be irreplaceable, one must always be different.” You’ll find that famous Coco Chanel quote in Oksana’s Instagram bio. She says that quote actually changed her life because she is physically very different, and was able to find strength in that!
- Did someone say dessert? Oksana is a huge fan of Oreos, but says doughnuts are actually the best! She likes her doughnuts fluffy, and particularly loves to enjoy a fruity doughnut complete with icing and toppings.
- Memoir coming soon. Yes, Oksana wrote a book! Expected to publish in February, “The Hard Parts” tells the story of Oksana’s incredible journey, and all the hard parts in between. She hopes her story will help others find strength in their own hard parts!
