I am finally able to say something I haven’t been able to say since week four…The Broncos won on Sunday!! It’s time for Talking Touchdowns and I can actually talk touchdowns!
The Broncos have a short week as they head to Indianapolis to face the 3-10 Indianapolis Colts on Thursday night. Let’s take a look at the match up:
Denver Broncos vs. Indianapolis Colts
The Broncos are able to enjoy their first win in eight weeks but it will be short lived because they have a short week with a game on Thursday.
Against the Jets on Sunday, Broncos Country saw a noticeably different team, in energy and effort. They had a total of 17 first down and controlled the game with their time of possession – 37:35 minutes!
The Defense showed signs of the defense we know and love by creating turnovers and holding the Jets to a total of 100 yards.
It’s safe to say the Colts are not good. They’ve suffered four straight losses and sit last in the AFC South. Coming off a heartbreaking and heart-freezing lose against the Bills in over six inches of snow, this team is averaging 27.5 points allowed (which is the worst in the league).
Game Prediction
Although the Broncos have a short week, I am most definitely giving them the upper hand this week. My game prediction is Broncos 24 – Colts 7.
