Not only have the Broncos won two games, they did it in a matter of five days! It’s time for Talking Touchdowns and now after a week of winning feels, it’s time to look ahead to week 15. The Broncos visit the 6-8 Washington Redskins on Sunday. Let’s take a look at the matchup:
Denver Broncos vs. Washington Redskins
After an interesting win against the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday, we saw a very different version of Brock Osweiler after Trevor Siemian suffered a left shoulder injury. He was 12-of-17 passing for 194 yards with two touchdowns to go with an 18-yard rushing touchdown. So now the question remains, who will start against the Washington Redskins? Brock’s got my vote!
The Redskins sit at third in the NFC East but are coming off a Sunday win against the Arizona Cardinals. (Sorry, Cardinals Fangirl!) And they have a strong QB in Kirk Cousins, whose passer rating is a 98.8.
We’ve seen the Denver Broncos defense step up over the last two weeks, holding their opponents to less than 330 yards total, so this could prove to be an interesting matchup if the defense can hold the Redskins to under 200 yards, and continue to not allow big plays.
Game Prediction
My game prediction is Broncos 24 – Redskins 17.
