Antonio Pierce
It seems that the Las Vegas Raiders have found their man, as Adam Schefter is reporting that they are finalizing a deal to make Antonio Pierce their head coach.
Pierce stepped in as interim coach at the end of October after Josh McDaniels was fired. The Raiders locker room became a visibly happier place to be, with the team finishing 5-4 under Pierce.
Josh Hader and the Houston Astros
The Houston Astros have their closer. ESPN’s Jeff Passan is reporting that Josh Hader has agreed to a five-year, $95 million deal.
Hader has made the All-Star team five times and has 153 saves, 437 strikeouts and 2.60 ERA since 2019. In other words, he’s very good and joins an Astros bullpen that is already very good.
