The New York Jets will make their way to California with a depleted roster because general Manager Mike Maccagnan gutted the roster and sent several veterans on their way.

Oakland Raiders vs. New York Jets

The Jets are coming off a 21-12 loss to the Buffalo Bills in which QB Josh McCown Completed 26 of 39 passes for 187 yards, no touchdowns & two interceptions…that can not be good for y’all!

Compare that with Derek Carr’s 22 of 32, 262 yards and two touchdown performance in week one, and the Raiders have the QB battle locked up. Oh, and let’s not forget about our Beastmode Marshawn Lynch and his 18 carries for 76 yards. We got this.

The biggest question coming into the season was how the middle of the Raiders defense is going to perform. But despite Oakland’s defensive issues, wideouts Robby Anderson and Jermaine Kearse pose a minimal threat, especially with McCown at the helm.

At 31 years old, running back Matt Forte will step on the field as the best offensive player in New York. Unfortunately, he stands behind a weak offensive line that I think will allow penetration throughout the game.

Game Prediction:

The Jets play the Raiders on Sunday, September 17 In Oakland, I think this should be an automatic win for the Raiders, especially considering that the Jets are maybe the worst team in the NFL right now, according to ESPN’s Football Power Index–not me! With that being said, LET’S GO RAIDERS!
