Denver Broncos vs. Dallas Cowboys

The Denver Broncos are now 2-0 heading into week three. They visit the 1-1 Buffalo Bills who have only scored 24 points in their last two games, compare that to the Broncos 66 points. Needless to say it should make for an interesting game. Let’s take a look at the matchup:

In Week 1, Trevor Siemian was the shining star of the Broncos offense, but in Week 2 it was all about CJ Anderson. He had 118 rushing yards with two touchdowns, one rushing and one receiving. CJ Anderson is at the core of this Denver Broncos running game, and he’s a force to be reckoned with.

Defensively, the Broncos had another good week. And by “good” I mean holding Ezekiel Elliott to 8 yards in 9 carries, making it the worst game of his career. Dallas only managed 40 yards rushing and one first down on the ground against the Broncos. When Dak Prescott tried to develop a passing game, the secondary was there to put an end to it.

Denver Broncos vs. Buffalo Bills

Similar to the Denver Broncos, the Buffalo Bills are under a new head coach with Sean McDermott. But they are facing very different struggles than the Broncos. Both running back LeSean McCoy and quarterback Tyrod Taylor are off to slow starts in this 2017 season.

LeSean Mccoy was held to nine yards rushing & Taylor only had 125 passing yards against the Panthers in Week 2.

For the Bills, the saving grace is their defense. They have the second best ranked defense with 234.5 yards per game allowed.

This may be a different game then what we’ve seen, because the Bills defense will put up a better fight then what we’ve seen from the Chargers or Cowboys…or maybe Trevor Siemian is really THAT GOOD.

Game Prediction

My game prediction is Broncos 24 – Bills 7. I don’t foresee a huge blowout like we saw against the Cowboys, but the Broncos will still have their moments to score against a young Bills defense.
