This lucky Fangirl got to hang out with 49ers’ Head of Strength and Conditioning coach Ray Wright and go through the team’s conditioning workout. I was so excited to go, and although I had a blast, the workout is incredibly hard.
I arrived in pink and in style thanks to Athleta and ready to work, which was a good thing, because Ray was ready to make me work.
The workout consisted of:
- The team warm ups
- Various exercises up and down that dreaded hill
- The weight room
- Toning exercises
- Running on a treadmill at the highest possible incline
- And ending in the cryotherapy machine which was a treat and freezing.
Thank you Ray, the 49ers, and Athleta! It turns out there’s a reason I’m a Fangirl and not on the team itself. Go Niners!
