Fangirl Prediction: Shape of Water
This perfect fairytale story commands an Oscar. The protagonist, a silent yet powerful woman, moves the heart of the audience making us think differently about those with ‘disabilities.’ What society sees as a flaw may actually be a hidden talent.
This picture faces a great deal of competition but, Del Toro’s fantasy romance takes home the award in my opinion.
