What’s up Clipper Nation? Playoffs are in full swing! We didn’t quite get off to the start that we were hoping for but there is still basketball left to play! Here’s a quick look at the rest of the series.

Los Angeles Clippers vs. Utah Jazz

After losing Game One at home on a last second buzzer beater by Jazz veteran forward Joe Johnson, the Clippers needed to bounce back quickly to even up the series and that’s exactly what they did. The Clippers took Game Two with a 99-91 win over the Jazz. DeAndre Jordan had a big game with 18 points and 15 rebounds. This team needed that.

Moving forward, the Clippers should have an advantage in the paint, as Jazz Center Rudy Gobert will be out with a hyperextended knee for at least a game or two. Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan have to capitalize on the Jazz’s rim protector being out, so they should dominate the paint.

The series will shift back to Utah for Game three, which will be a pivotal game in the series. At this point, the series is tied and the Clippers are losing home court advantage. Two key stats the Clippers need to improve on are total team assists and turnovers, as the Jazz bested them in both categories in Game one. Aside from the Big three, role players JJ Redick and Jamal Crawford will have to contribute more than their combined 15 points if the Clippers want to beat the Jazz in this series.

Well heading into Utah with a tied series should bode well for the Clippers. You will have to watch the video to hear my game predication for Game Three.
