It’s that time to reflect on the year, a time to look ahead to the future and a time when there is never TOO much sparkle! I have put together three different looks for you to be the diamond in the room, sparkling on New Year’s Eve, whether you’re going all out, to a nice dinner or to a friend’s party and keeping it more low key. Here are my tips and tricks with how to sparkle on NYE.
I am going to start light and finish with the main event.
Low Key Sparkle
First sparkle outfit is for those of you who are keeping it more low key but still want to be festive this New Year’s Eve. This could be a house party, family event, a dinner in with family, whatever your low key is. Last year, I got Jack in the Box and champagne and stayed in. That is my low key! We are all different, but this clutch is sure to make a statement wherever you go. Since this clutch is so “Jenny From the Block” with her “Rocks”, I am going to keep the other pieces basic, with a white or black tee under a blazer with black high waisted skinnies. I chose my cape blazer for a little extra flair since it is still NYE. Black pumps and then my sparkly clutch to let it do the talking.
Upscale Dinner Sparkle
Next outfit is for an upscale dinner out. I chose my black tuxedo dress. One, these are so in and will stay in. Two, they are so chic and sexy. I am going to pair this tuxedo dress with rhinestone-covered pumps, like these. The statement shoes with this sexy dress will have everyone asking you to style them from now on! The shoes were made for sparkling and that’s just what they will do. Keep it simple, let the shoes do the talking, and pair with a black clutch along with stud diamond earrings.
Going All Out Sparkle
Lastly, and the main event for those going all out clubbing ala Vegas, Miami, LA and NY style. This dress is a for sure the show stopper. The whole dress is covered with sequins, slits on the side, and a cutout back. MIC DROP! Pair with black pumps. Note: when buying pumps, keep the toe pointed. They’re more mature, classier and stylish.
