Okay Mobsquad!! How about that HUGE win!! I know I predicted the Rams to win but secretly I was just hoping for the best. The Rams had a huge a divisional win over the Cowboys 35-30 and it was no mistake.
I compared the two 2016 draft quarterbacks thinking that Dak Prescott would for sure come out on top as he proved in his rookie season. Jared Goff went 21 of 36 for 255 yards with 2 touchdowns and no interceptions. Dak, on the other hand, went 20 of 36 for 252 and 3 touchdowns with 1 interception. While they were definitely comparable, I think Todd Gurley was a huge asset today.
Todd Gurley had 121 yards on 6 carries and added another 94 yards on 7 receptions with one touchdown. One of the biggest contributions to the Rams success is their offense. When the offense is successful is when the Rams can be truly competitive. While most would think that the Cowboys win in the bag, the Rams proved to be a true competitor. I think today was a good showing that the Rams are absolutely a team to be reckoned with. This was a HUGE win for the Rams as they take on a divisional rival in the Seahawks next week.
