  1. Our Narrative. Casey was joined by teammate Julie Ertz in an emotional embrace as they took a knee during the National Anthem just last week. The duo then released a statement reflecting on the meaning of unity, the importance of uncomfortable conversations, and the desire to BE the change. We couldn’t have put it any better!
  2. Checks over stripes. Casey teamed up with Nike to donate pairs of Nike Air Zoom Pulse to healthcare workers battling the pandemic in Chicago. This especially hits home for Casey since her finacé Cody is an ER resident physician working to save lives on the frontline. #ThankYou
  3. Hometown dreaming. Being from Naperville, a suburb of Chicago, Casey always dreamed of playing for the Chicago Red Stars. She was traded to the club for the 2014 season, but never played a game due to injury. As fate would have it, Casey wound up back with the Red Stars in 2016 and remains with them today! #DreamBig
  4. Study abroad? Casey actually played her first professional season in Norway with Avaldsnes back in 2015. While she was there, she learned Portuguese thanks to all her Brazilian teammates. We can totally see why she loves using travel as a way to learn new things!
  5. Hold the ketchup! Like a true Chicago gal, Casey takes her hot dogs with mustard ONLY. So, if you plan on inviting her to a socially distant tailgate, plan accordingly. Oh, and make sure the playlist is filled with Country tunes. It’s her fav genre!
