1. Dynamic trio! T.J. Watt has one of the best brotherhoods and inspirations in the league! All three Watt brothers honed their skills at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and went on to dominate in the NFL. T.J is a powerhouse linebacker with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Derek, a dynamic fullback free agent, and J.J., a 12-season veteran who made a name for himself with the Houston Texans, earning three NFL Defensive Player of the Year titles (in case you hadn’t heard of him *wink*).
  2. It runs in the family. Aside from his NFL siblings, T.J.’s parents were athletes too! His dad played football at Wisconsin, and his mom was a track and field star at the same university.
  3. Record Breaker Alert! T.J. Watt has entered elite company, matching Reggie White as the only players in NFL history to notch 90+ sacks in their first 100 career games. He achieved this milestone in last Sunday’s clash against the Cincinnati Bengals.
  4. Did you know T.J. Watt’s journey to football greatness started on the ice? From 2-11 years old, he was all about ice hockey before committing wholeheartedly to football. The decision paid off big time!
  5. Love GOALS! Shortly after earning his first NFL Defensive Player of the Year award in 2021, T.J. married standout soccer star Dani Rhodes.

I created Fangirl Sports Network as a place for female sports fans to follow their favorite teams with content and coverage that speaks directly to females. It started with one and then eight and now 32 NFL Fangirls and 15 NBA Fangirls.
