I decided to do a 5 Fun Facts on Jared Goff, and Jeff Fisher decided to start the #1 draft pick. Coincidence? Maybe. Maybe not. Here are five fun facts on our new QB1, Jared Goff:
Fact # 1: Jared Goff went to Marin Catholic High School and earned himself very impressive stats in his three years of varsity football.
Fact #2: Jared Goff went on to play football at Cal and broke a lot of records. He was also the only quarterback in Cal history to start as a true freshman in week one.
Fact # 3: Jared Goff wears No. 16, the number of his football hero growing up, Joe Montana.
Fact # 4: Jared Goff is not the only athlete in his family. His father, Jerry, was a catcher for the Expos, Pirates & Astros.
Fact # 5: Jared Goff does in fact know now that the sun rises in the East and sets in the west.
